Hello everyone. I have a bb36 snowthrower that I am trying to put on my original. I am missing a couple parts and it looks like they are no longer available. I am missing the tension springs and was wondering if anyone knew the size of them (or where I could get them). Also, I don't think it has the right idler pulley on it, and that is no longer available. The one that is one there is about 2" in diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also missing the idler control rod but I can probably make something up for that. If anyone has these parts and is looking to sell them let me know.
Thanks, Earl |

If that's the one that was ebay, From Oxford, I was gonna get it because it was 10min from me.
![]() I was told the BB series were made for the 100's without a pto. Can't you make it work with a standard IH mule drive for a QA series snow blower? Unless you have a 100 w/o pto. |

My mistake, I didn't see you were putting it on an O.
in that case, the idler looks to be easily fabricated. |

I tried all the sponsors and none of them had one at this time. I left the larger pulley on the motor and put a smaller idler and it seems to be working okay. I'd still like to get the correct motor pulley if anyone has one.
Thanks for your help, Earl |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
