From looking at the owners manual, it appears that there are only two suframes for the front blades, one being for NF's and one for WF's. I have the subframe shown below, and tried to put it on my 126 tonight. The PO had put a piece of allthread thru the front mounting points where it appears that there should be studs. With the slots on the back of the frame pushed all the way back on the footrest rod, the allthread just barely catches on the quick attach hooks. Also the straps for the front mounting points are basically the same width.as the quick attach hooks, so the subframe has to straddle the quick attach to one side or the other. It looks like I will have to make some mods the the front mounting points in order to make things work. Any thought?

That will only work on a original, 70,and 100 but I am sure you will make it work. The one from a 71-a 123 has a longer fork where it attaches to the foot rest.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
