Default 1250 drive shaft question
The coupler on the hydro unit, what needs replaced there? Can you just get a new self aligning ball/bushing and put it in the old coupler? I'm almost ready to start putting things back together. I have the cradle fixed and some needed parts, but not sure about the rear bushing.

Yes you can buy just the bushing,sometimes a real pain getting the old one out of the coupler.

Yes, you can, but it will be very expensive from Cub Cadet...the cheapest way to get them is to buy a bunch of them from the manufacturer and sell off the extras.

They are very easy to remove with a hammer and punch.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
