Default 149 Hydro leak
Hey guys, today I replaced the hydraulic cooling fan on my 149. The old one was missing fins. I took the drive shaft out no problem and replaced the fan and put it back together no problem. When I started it however the seal going into the trans started leaking real bad. After it ran a bit the leak slowed down but did not completely stop. If I let it run parked it leaves a quarter sized spot on the garage floor after a few minutes. I really didn't have to honk on anything while doing the fan job. Anybody have some ideas what went wrong?? I am stumped on this one!!

Sometimes just simply disturbing old dried out seals causes leaks.

i agree. when you tear into things like that it is best to replace the seals while you are at it.
