We had some snow in Western New York on Sunday, the 29th. It was lake effect but wasn't a whole lot. I believe the City of Buffalo got around 3 inches or so. Just enough to make the roads snotty and slick. Out in "ski county" where I live, we got at least 6 inches but no more than 8" (guesstimation). Which we could share it with everyone, but there probably wouldn't be enough for all of us...

I took a few pics for you guys when I did the driveway on Monday the 30th. I was alone so I couldn't get any action pics of the nut behind the wheel. Today, it is in the 40's and the stuff is melting. A weird winter, to say the least. Update: I went to go pick up subs for the family at about 6:30PM EST and the car thermometer said 50 degrees.

The 3rd, 4th and 5th pics are the back yard that I do for my boys - Jake and Sam, my 4 legged sons. The 6th pic is my patriotic sticker that I've had on my F350 way before it actually happened - made by a friend of mine. A pic of the 44 mower I have to finish rebuilding. The pic of my Ford that I need to put some time into - vacuum leaks. And the rest...enjoy boys.

Jules: "Check out the big brain on Brett! You're a smart m....." The quote's from Pulp Fiction.....sorry 4speed, couldn't help myself. That sled I bought for $400 back in '07 or '08. It's a '96 Polaris Ultra. It needs some work. Everything I own needs some work. A friend of mine wants to buy it but with this bust of a winter, I don't know. And that's a storage shelf, not a work bench. Too much to work on and not enough time. I'll do better next time...

Thanks IHman. Been a very mellow winter here in the Big Buff. I don't know who is getting snow, but it's not us. It's down to the grass once again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
