Thanks. I really like it other than it reduces my seat time since I get done so fast. Works great for the typical snows we get and it clears the snow far enough to the side by tires are on plowed ground. If we get a 2ft snow like last year, I will probably take the extensions off.

Yep, I agree, besides these tractors take up much less space in the "toy box".
Also, I can take them out without panicking over them getting hurt and without extreme insurance payments...

Got some snow last night! Only about 4-5 inches, but I got some seat time! The 982 did great even without weights, and I went to get the 1811 out to blow some snow and..... Flat tire so no pics of it, but here's one of the 982, the steering brakes were great for spinning it around after a pass.

Guys,
Nice shots of the Cubs in the snow! Makes me want to get out and play in it too.
Just thinking here! I may go get the blade from Eric (son) he said I could have one that fits a NF. Bring it home and take a look at it. Might need some cleaning up? Snow push blade would be another nice implement to have completed too!

Regards,
Chris

Talked to my Dad the other day...he used my 1872/Sims Cab/364 blower to clear the 6" they got. He loved it. Nobody took any pictures, though

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
