Engine is back on the bench and it looks like all the wiring is junk. Not sure what else is toasted? Well the garage and house is still standing. NOT a great day in Cub restoration-ville. Now I know why I don't like wiring that much.

Chris, Don't feel bad about the crossed wires, I have 35+ yrs experience as a mechanic and still screw up! I had an issue with my 680 and used the wrong type ign. switch & almost cooked it.

It is too bad you need to redo things though.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
