Here are some better pics, now that I can work in the light of day and have the hood and grill off. Looks like the wear button is completely worn and the actual lever was pressing on the center of the clutch.

Also, according to the video I saw, I don't think the set screw holes aren't lined up properly.

Since I'm this far, I might as well remove the the whole thing and take a look at it. So far I know I definitely need a new wear button. Other thoughts?
