I have a 1250 that is affectionately called my 1250 Nightmare!

That being said, I love the tractor and paid $400 for it three years ago with a good engine. It needed ISO mounts, steering rebuild and an engine cradle modification. I put on new front tires, painted the white, and changed the Hytran. Currently, it needs a truniton rebuild.

You can expect to do all these things at some point with a Quietline. Still, they are a wonderful tractor. In the condition that you describe, I think $500 is about the top I would pay. But again, if 50 bucks is in the way of a deal, it will be for you to decide how much you want to pay for the enjoyment that you will get back from it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
