First Cub - SGT 2072

I am a longtime reader of these forums and I finally purchased my first Cub! It is a SGT 2072 with the 20HP Kohler Magnum, 60" Haban deck, 3pt hitch, a 3pt back bucket and front hydraulics. Overall it's in fairly good shape, it could use a good cleaning and some paint to look like some of the tractors I've seen on here. I bought it mostly because it had the 3pt and 60" deck with the steel side panels, i like the look of the cyclops but so many recommend against them for the lack of durability with the side panels. I'm currently looking to add some attachments such as a plow and a disc but I've not had great luck so far.

I did get to use it to bury a dog fence wire for a friend of mine by wedging a sharpened piece of rebar rod with a tube for the wire to go through attached to it between the top of the A frame and the bottom bar of the back bucket. It did surprisingly well even across a hard packed gravel driveway. The tractor had plenty of power to dig two holes when the rebar was a bit too low and caught on a root or large rock, i think I'll need some weights on the back. Overall it worked great and buried the fence about 4 - 5" below the surface.

Now for the bad about this tractor. It will not idle down at all; it just stalls. I've pulled the carb off and cleaned it, there was a bit of orange/brownish goo that was removed but I'm guessing that there's some of that in the low speed jet as well. It seems to run well on full throttle but will not idle down. I was hoping for some insight into this issue and if folks have a recommended method of cleaning these carbs. Also it seems that this is a fixed jet carb, what is the correct rebuild kit for this carb?
