MORE 1650 problems GRR...
Hey guys, I barely have time to post this, so bear with my mistakes. I put a different engine in my 1650. The govorner in the other moter was shot. I put the new moter in, got it running, and tuned pretty good with the air cleaner off, but I put it back on and it hardly runs at all. Tuning tips? second, If you crank it for more than about 20 seconds, suddenly it seems like the battery dies. I felt along the choke cable and got a burn mark for the record. where could I start to hunt the short? another thing, I left it sit overnight with the fuel on, and a full tank. this morning it was down to half a tank, and it looked like it was comeing out the bottom of the breather. If it went through the carb, would it not also come out the aircleaner? the carb is just rebuilt, so I'm really ticked. any assistance on this would be helpful. thanks.
