How rare is a 169, and whats a fair price ?
just like the title says...
Are the 169s real hard to come by ? whats a fair price for one in good condition

The 169 is the 3rd rarest cub if I remember right (1st is the 800, 2nd ???, 169 is the 3rd, and 73 is the 4th....)....but I may be mistaken
 . It is difficult to say what a fair price is, as extras add value (like 3 point hitch, lights, snow blower, blade, hub caps, etc.) and location sometimes plays a role in a fair price for one. It all boils down to an agreement between the buyer and seller so that both feel good about the deal when they rest their head on their pillows at night. My shot in the dark for a running 169 would be from $375-$550 in good, but unrestored, shape.Cub Cadet 123

Rarest production model was the 800, followed by the 169, then the 126......
The mufflers are hard to find and expensive if you find one. The original 16 horse kohler was a 13 fin motor. Even if the muffler is gone and the engine is a replacement, they are still nice tractors. Price always depends on location and what the tractor looks like, runs, etc. Good luck and keep us posted.
