Default Muffler gasket part number for diesels?

Does anyone have a Kubota number for the square gasket that goes between the manifold and the muffler on a Kubota diesel? Cub Cadet only shows their own part number, but Kubota has to have one too since it's their manifold and muffler.

If your gasket is not totally destroyed I'd just use some Permatex Ultra Copper silicone on it. For what it's worth that all that the Nascar guys use when they bolt the headers to the engines. I've used it on a few engines and so far no problems and it's what I will do on the 2182 I'm working on now. Other than that give your local Bota dealer a call.

Thanks Diesel Krazy!

Sam,
I wish I could just give them a call, but I have to have a part number for them. They are a Kubota tractor and mower dealer, but not an Engine dealer if that makes any sense. If it isn't on a Kubota product like a tractor or mower they don't have access to the engine parts manuals. They can get the parts as long as I have a number for them though. Unfortunately, the nearest engine dealer is about 80 miles away.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
