Time to get the garden in. Had a fellow to plow the sod up with a farm tractor and turning plow. The "yella' Mule" had a hard time of it, climbing through that, with the "drag" (barn gate), the first time over. That little fella may not be big, but it has "guts". After two or three times over, I ran the tiller lightly, then drag again to level and fill the holes. Next the tiller a couple times. Planted tomatoes, peppers, onions, potatoes, corn. beans, water Mellon and cucumbers, yesterday and today. Some more stuff in a few days.
I did wish for a gear drive, for this job. The hyro, is too hard to control, when the going gets rough, with hard pull, then sudden free running. I guess the pics are too big to show here but click on the URL here, or go to my album. http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=5480 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=5481 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=5482

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
