149 earning it's keep.
Time to get the garden in. Had a fellow to plow the sod up with a farm tractor and turning plow. The "yella' Mule" had a hard time of it, climbing through that, with the "drag" (barn gate), the first time over. That little fella may not be big, but it has "guts". After two or three times over, I ran the tiller lightly, then drag again to level and fill the holes. Next the tiller a couple times. Planted tomatoes, peppers, onions, potatoes, corn. beans, water Mellon and cucumbers, yesterday and today. Some more stuff in a few days.
I did wish for a gear drive, for this job. The hyro, is too hard to control, when the going gets rough, with hard pull, then sudden free running. I guess the pics are too big to show here but click on the URL here, or go to my album. http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=5480 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=5481 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=5482 |
Looks good! And the fruits(and vegatables) of your labor will be well worth it.
