Question Hanger For Haban Deck

I'm looking at buying a 60" haban deck for a 982. The deck does not have any hangers and the 982 does not have a mule drive. I know i need to buy a mule drive but do i need specific hangers for the deck?

The hangers are specific to he haban decks, as they are taller than the 50" IH decks, so you will need to find one made for the haban.

They are also different between the older Haban and the newer Cub/Haban

I think it should also have the stabilizer mount.

Ben

The lift arms on yours are bent but I'm sure you know that.

A couple pics of the Haban I just picked up from Chris Westfall. He said the PO was mowing with it but he didn't check it out. My guess is it was not cutting very well LMAO Take a good look at the blades. Other than that issue it's a nice deck. Also attached pics of the mule & lift. This is for the older Habans.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
