The orginal/manual PTO clutch is easier on the attachment and belt(s) that the PTO is running when you engage the PTO. A electric PTO is off or on....no easy starting the attachment. The battery and electrical system needs to be in top shape as someone else stated. A rebuild kit for a manual clutch is cheaper than buying a new electric clutch. They are easy to rebuild. Not sure...I think the end of crankshaft needs to be drilled and tap for electric clutch. There is a bolt in the end of crankshaft that has an electric clutch. You may have problems with the belt alignment with going to a electric clutch. The end of crank may or may not be long enough for electric clutch.

It's not the worth the aggervation changing to an electic clutch.
