From what I understand they had an issue sending the power through the ignition switch to the starter because it pulled too many amps. Anyway see what you have at the blue wire red arrow points to it in this pic. It's on the right side of the engine as your sitting on the tractor.

Just a heads up, I have the same issue with my 2284 and occasionally my 1864 (obviously both Commands). I have been doing some research and will be doing a how-to thread soon here on how to install the relay for those that have this issue.
