carb "spacer" gasket.application?purpose?advantage?
What is the application/purpose/advantage of the carb "spacer" type gasket over the plain single layer thin gasket? I am changing the carb from a walbro to a Kohler Carter # 30 on a K321 engine from a 149,and I am trying to determine which gasket to use.
My K321aqs has the spacer type gasket,but my k241's and k301's have a thin gasket.
