1 inch bearings for Douglas wheels.
Does anyone here know if they make a bearing for the Douglas wheel (spindle mount) that will fit my 1811 Cub It is a 1 inch spindle. I bought a new set from Miller Tire co. and got 3/4 inch bearings. If they do make them, will they fit my new hubs? Thanks, jason

Since you are trying to locate Non Cub Cadet Parts for your tractor, I would suggest that you start with
(A) The wheel manufacturer - Douglas Wheel (B) The supplier that sold you the wheels (C) Any major Bearing Supply House (ie: Motion Industries) |
I would think most auto parts stores would be able to look up bearings by the outside and inside diameters, if you can get them to do it. Do the cub wheels for 1" spindles differ in outside diameter of the bearing as compared to older cubs with the 3/4" spindles?

All the aluminum front wheels I've been able to find online have either 5/8" or 3/4" bearings. If you can't find wheels to fit your 1" spindles you could swap in a front axle or spindles from a wide frame or early quiet line with 3/4" spindle. |
I have a set coming in a couple of days froma buddy of mine. It was easier to switch the spindle than try to find a tricky sized bearing. (Actually, the spindles cost less than most bearings that were close in size.) LOL!!!
