another rear end question.
so instead of finding another rearend for my 100 i'm thinking about pulling the 2 injured ones i have apart. the first one- when you spin the imput shaft there is a rough spot like every other revolution. thinking maybe a bad bearing? the other ive never ran because i parted the tractor. but when i popped the rear cover off there was a little metal ball laying in the bottom which i think is the "shift detent ball". so the questions. which do you think would be a easier fix? and how much of a pain is it to tear apart a rear end? thanks

as of now i just have the wideframe service manual and the wide frame parts brake down book.

So by the sounds of it. Replacing the detent balls will be easiest? I'll maybe look into it tomorrow

whats the torque spec for the big reduction gear? cant find it in my manual. thanks

Consult the chart at the front of the manual that has torque specs for different size fasteners.

Thanks matt. Wasn't sure if there was a certain spec or not
