Hydro Shifter Repair
3 Attachment(s)
Hello
Well I got my 1450 running today and I managed to break the hydrostatic shifter on the dash . Well I thought after looking at the break I thought I could fix it. I drilled through the metal behind the break and put two pieces 1/8 inch aluminum on each side and threaded the holes with a tap & die set and ran screws through it and it seems stronger than before ( I'll cut the screws off tomorrow.) |
good fix,and alot easier than finding a new one!!!

I'd highly recommend putting locktite on those screws... You don't want that falling apart when you are driving it:NailBite:

Matt, there's always the brake pedal!
Don't you hate it when you've got a couple Cubs out working and you jump from a gear drive to a hydro and hit the brake pedal to stop instead of using the hydro lever? |
