Carburetor Mounting Stud 782
 

Good evening,

I need to replace the two carb studs that screw into the manifold of my 782 Cub. The engine is a KT17 and is probably a series 1. I would be appreciative if someone would reply with the part number, specifications or a vendor for the studs.

My 782 needs a little more work than i thought it would.

That looks like it's NLA. Check with the sponsors above and they should be able to help you out.

The part # is X-352-37. it was also used on other engines such as the Kohler M18's & M20's.

That shows as a 5/16-18 x 1.03 stud. You can probably replace them with some 5/16 - 18 threaded rod cut to length or get something like this from McMaster Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/products/th.../length~1-1-4/

Take one out and take it with you to the local ACE hardware store. I'm sure they can help you out. Most of their stores have a good supply of fasteners.

Any decent auto supply store would have them as well.
I would not go the threaded (all-thread) rod route.
