Haban 402A Sickle Bar Mower
 

Hi All,

I recently acquired a Haban 402A Sickle Mower to put on my 147, and I want to make sure I have it mounted correctly. There is a leftover bracket and can't figure out where it goes. Also, I routed the chain several different ways and was wondering if anyone could tell me the correct way to route it.

I am surprised you did not paint it first....

Looks like the chain is on wrong, the spring end mounts to the strut.

Ha! I wanted to try it out first.

Yes, I saw where the chain attached there but there was a little spot to hook it and seemed to work.

Is the chain what keeps the sickle from rubbing on the ground?

Is this any better? I have no idea what the bracket piece I have goes to. This was modified to fit a 147 so maybe that piece was needed to fit an earlier model? The only mounting points are in the front and rear of tractor, right? Nothing is supposed to attach to the lift?
