128 Dash tower metal cracked
2 of the 4 bolts that hold it to the frame holes are cracked about 2 inches or so. How could I go about fixing this? last resort would be to replace the tower.

the BOLTS are cracked as in snapped off? or the tower sheetmetal is torn?
if its the tower sheet metal, I'd drill a small hole at the end of the crack and then vise grip one of my copper bars to one side if it and weld away with my MIG. similar issue with my 129... the #10-24 bolts that hold the fiberglass cover to the metal part on the left side, snapped off on mine, knocked the welded (tacked ) OEM nuts off the back side, gonna have to tack some new ones into place. |

have some of a 129 here that I aint sure yet what I am gonna do with, but otherwise if you were closer, and you'd take the tower off, I'd weld it up....

Had the same issue on my 169, stress cracks from and around the lower bolt holes of the dash tower. I made support brackets out of 1/8" aluminum diamond plate and bolted them right over the sheet metal with two additional bolts into the tower.

You're very welcome sir. Not sure if it's a model year issue or not, my 128 isn't cracked though, which is a September 1973.
