Do you think the old gentleman that owned this ever cleaned it?

No fins on the hydro fan.

When I took it for a ride prior to purchase it ran just fine. Did'nt miss a beat,

GO FIGURE?

My 109 was like that when I got it 20 some years ago...

On a really hot day it would stop moving, took the fenders off and the transaxle out of it and washed it really well. Its still going strong today.

LMAO

I also noticed the coupler and pin. Some of my hydros are worn almost half way around. OK not quite that bad, but some of em are pretty worn!

My 149 was like that, too. The Super Clean (or is it Super Kleen) at Wal Mart for about $8 works great for ecologically removing that grime quickly.

At 1st. I started to use this stuff called 'Krud Kutter' in certain area's to see what I got. Now when I pop the engine out i'll spray it with 'ZEP- Oven & Grill Spray' & power wash the snot out of it. I did a litttle experiment with the stuff on the inside of my hood & it was wonderfull. Sprayed it on, let it sit for a couple minutes & just hosed it off.

Leave it up to the wifey to come up with brainstorm like that. :Bowdown2:

I've heard other people mention this product before. Where would I find this?

Krud Kutter <or> Krud Cutter is a spray that after spraying on the whatever piece your gonna clean does a GOOD job in de-greasing the what-ever your trying to clean. But you have to do a little scrubbing with a nylon brush to do a good job.
Think I bought it at Wal-Mart?

This oven/grill cleaner is awsome, actually I am now looking forward to tackling the job. Imagine that?
ZEP, makes all types of cleaning stuff for just about every application the heart desires.

She bought ours at Home Depot, also glass cleaner, etc. but I would imagine that most Ace, True Value would have it also?
