107 Lever Retaining Bracket

Hello all.

I'm trying to find a replacement "lever retaining bracket" for the manual relief lever to go on my 107. It's item 35 in this diagram. Holds the relief lever up so I don't have to while I'm moving it short distances.

Unfortunately, it is NLA so neither parts tree nor Cub Cadet Parts has listed the part number and I'm not having much luck searching by name.

Would anyone happen to know a part number I can search for? Thank you for your time!

It's just a little piece of angle iron with a hole drilled in it. Just make one. Otherwise, put up a wanted ad on this site. (Be sure to follow the rules for your post.) I'm sure someone has a parts machine they would pull the part and sell it to you. But you can make one for less than the shipping would be..... :biggrin2:

I think I have a couple of those little brackets. I will check tomorrow and let you know.:beerchug:

J-Mech, that's what I have right now for a . Just wanted to see what the proper thing was supposed to look like. Haven't been able to find one yet due to lack of info to start a search.

Delta Cub, thank you! Could you shoot me a PM if you find one? Thanks!

You either didn't finish typing, or I don't know what you are saying (in red). I'm assuming you mean to say that is what it has on it now? If so, you made it? If not, then you may in fact have the correct piece. It is just a piece of angle iron, with the edges rounded and it's bolted on loosely. NBD. If you need one, sounds like Beth can help you out! :beerchug:

You know what? I have this exact part in a bag of spare parts. I didn't think that would be the right piece since it had two holes drilled in it, but I never could find where it was supposed to go.

Maybe I've had this piece all along. Thanks!

I'm going to blame using my phone for that mistake! Phones and pencils always making me mess up my writing! I went back to edit my sentence and never finished.

Right now I've got an angle bracket that I recycled from some old shelving. It's about 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" by 1/2 in wide, doesn't hold the release lever up high enough, and it snags on things easily. Hence why I was curious what the original should look like.

If what Ironman says is right, I've already got the piece in spare parts. I thought it was a bracket to mount something else. If it's not, then DeltaCub has me situated! Thank you for your time everyone!
