Next project maybe
I have had my eye on this 147 for about 2 years.

He doesn't remember how long it has been sitting, but says it has to be close to 10 years. Yesterday, I talked him into selling it. He wants $150 for it. The only problem is I don't have $150 and I gave him $200 for this one about 2 years ago. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...t/DSCN0383.jpg The 126 was running (after filing and setting the points) and I've been using it up until it "slung a rod" over a week ago. It's really hard to justify the extra expense right now. What do you guys think. Is the 147 worth $150? I'll be thankful for any input. |
It really sux about the money thing... Yes the 147 is worth way more than $150.00
Good luck to you. |
^what Sam said.

Charles, the 147 is definitely worth more than $150. Hope you're able to get it. :beerchug:

For what it's worth, since you've dealt with this guy before and the 147's been sitting there for so long, wouldn't he let you pay for it a little at a time? Also, that left rear tire -- I'm used to seeing them flat on bottom. Is flat on top typical below the Mason-Dixon Line? :bigthink: :American Flag 1:

I would say on the left rear tire, it must have just been rolled to move it from an even brushier spot, therefore the flat spot on top. I hope you didn't disturb the snakes and field mice too much. |
Hopefully I can come up with the money by August. It probably won't be going anywhere before then.
If I remember correctly, when the picture was taken we had started pushing it and disturbed a wasp nest. It hasn't been moved since. |
