Happy weekend everyone .
I am going to change the hydraulic fluid in my 1980- 682 ( SN is 683439 ). If I were to pull the cover off the rear end, would I find a gasket that would need replaced or ..... ?

Gasket IH-350837-R3 is available from any Cub Cadet or Case/IH Dealer, as well as, numerous places online.

Should those rear bolts be torqued at a certain spec and is a gasket sealer advised ?

I don't use a paper gasket on any rear cover. Grey or black RTV. Just a 1/8" bead. Torque 20- 30 ft lbs.

I use RTV also, but I don't torque the bolts. Travis' torque spec is correct if you feel the need to torque them.
