Front wheels for a 1200
Hello folks,
I need to replace my 2 front wheels, The bearing holes are all worn out, I know there 3/4" bearings and 6.50 x 8 Will this wheel work http://www.millertire.com/products/l...b-3-4-bearing/ thanks Dave |
One of the reviews said the hub is to narrow so they had to use a spacer but he said it was a wheelhorse, you might want to contact Miller to see how wide the hub is before ordering.

Are you using Good bearings? I have bought some cheaper ones that fall out.

If you're short of funds you can wrap the bearing with appropriate thickness shim stock to fill the gap.
I have used aluminum drink can material. Not pretty but easy on the wallet. |
I'll check with Millers on Monday, I had decent bearings, I'd rather just do it right and be done with it. There price is good, if I can make it work

Before you buy from Miller, you may wish to check with one of the sponsors, as listed above. They will have the correct wheel for your tractor, so no shims may be necessary, and very possibly will be cheaper than what you are looking at. They will also have the correct bearings.
Cheapest isn't always best, especially when extra parts are necessary to make them fit. |
