982 driveshaft specs

Hi gang ,
this forum has a plethora of information but I`m still trying to find the specs for a 982 driveshaft i.e. hole locations , length. I hope to modify a shaft from a 1872. It seems longer .....any help appreciated ... :bigthink:

I'm sure someone else can get you the answer sooner than I can, but
if not I have a spare driveshaft I can measure up but it will be Fri morning
before I can get to it. Sorry

I just copied my old one, didn't bother to make a print unfortunately. I did use 4140PH material though.

No hurry, I moved the engine forward and squeezed the driveshaft in position and it seems to work but before I put a load on it ,I would like to be sure.
I went to the trouble of changing to a 3000 series driveshaft and that idea turned out to be a disaster. For some reason blue barrels went flying... Now back to rag joints. They can be a PITA to change on a 982 but seem more capable of taking the torque.
