782 hydraulics

Are the hydraulic pumps interchangeable between a 682 and a 782?

No.........

Unless you mean the charge pump only, then yes.

I'm going to look at a 782 that the owner says won't move and I have what is left of a 682 sitting in the weeds. So I was hoping the parts will interchange if it is a serious problem.

IIRR 682 is not ported for hydraulic accessories
The 782 is, so some internal parts might be the same.
Usually the hydro's are pretty tough and it is common things that cause problems like sheared pin, plugged filter etc.
only occasionally do the internals cause problems.:bigthink:

On one of my 682s that I acquired, it did not move forward only in reverse.
I took the relief valves out and struck them against a hard object on the nut end.
I then reinstalled them and the tractor moved both forward and reverse. It was a simple and cheap fix.
