NF hydraulic pump question

Saw another thread about front seal replacement on one of these. I have one and have a question too. The control handle for it is tight and has no return to center. I saw another thread about a W spring on here also. I'm assuming the W spring is for the return of the handle or is for something else inside the pump?

Yes, the W spring centers the valve when you let go of the handle.

Thanks Adam. I guess I will have to take it apart and see what's going on. Spring might be ok, it's just pretty tough to move and doesn't center itself

Hopefully the valve and the bore it sits in only need some cleanup with some Scotch-Brite. A nice free fix. :)
