Differential Lock?
What are some ways of doing this and has anyone had good or bad experiences with this? Thinking about pulling w/ my 102 but feel like I want to lock it.
|
Midwest super cub sells a spool for them iorc. Only other option is to weld the spider gears which I don't recommend..
|
I would pull it first my rear end is not locked and it pulls just fine
|
OK, now I know kits exist for this but dang $372 maybe I dont want to lock it that bad...

Balance the weight correctly and learn to manor your body.

Well the thing is I use mine back in the swampy areas in the woods as well and I was thinking that if it wasnt too hard to do, I would just lock it and then be able to pull and get through the mud. At this point I guess I'll just have to get something better than super lugs.
Edit *yes leaning way is good especially when there is no kill switch on the seat* |
Get some good ag tires. If you lock it its also going to hurt your ability to turn...
|
Yup and I know some places where I can pick up an old crapsman or something to experiment with first before I do much internally.
|
thanks for turning me in the right direction!

I personaly wouldn't lock the rear at all if you plan to use it as a worker. If your back in the timber and swamp areas I highly doubt you will have a deck or mule drive attatched. Get a cheap harbor freight winch and build a quick attatch bracket...
