Serial #69884. I was told it was 1 of 9 made and all sent to California. Deck is painted red, yellow and black. mule drive is painted black. motor is a Kohler 8hp painted white. I can see on mule drive where there is yellow paint under black and tape lines on dash. Or is it just a model 70 that someone painted like this? Thanks for any info Al |
Looks like a 70 to me, looks like someone had some extra spray paint burning a hole in the shelf.

Its a early 70. Looks like the bigger battery box. But other then that nothing real special. Just a cool old solid working machine. I have one in pieces at the moment

I see you are in MO. also , i live by Boonville MO.
I was at a swap meet a few years back and there was a guy there selling a 70 or a 100 and he gave me the same story of the 1 of 9 and built for California. Has to be the same guy , and he wanted an insane price. I wasn't going to argue with him about what he told me because i am not a Cub expert , but i have never heard of something like that. I think i even searched the net about something like that and found nothing about a California only Cub. |
Cub 70
I am in St.Paul,Mo. I bought it from that guy but I paid very little for it. Thanks

I was going by this:, but I now see that I missed the right line. Corrected the original post.
