QA-42a question

Hi y'all I've been thinking about buying a qa-42a for my 782 and i was wondering if the horse power will help blow wet snow because on my 147 it would clog up and slip would this happen with this blower? any advice will help thanks

yes it will, wet snow is hard on any single stage thrower.

I have a QA42A on my 682, it works great. The larger belt also helps to get the power to the blower without slippage also.

The one is calls for. What Mike is saying is the '82 series uses a larger belt than the 147. You will have to change the pulley to work with your 782.

Yes what J-Mech said. Along with changing the pulley on the blower you will need to change the top lift arms to curved ones, so the blower chute clears the gille.
