Tiller mule drive pulleys

A while back some of you were looking for solid steel 4" pulleys for your mule drives on tillers. Just found these on Surplus Center.

Thank you Sam Mac, That would be $57.00 for me. Not bad for 2 HD pulleys with a changeable bearing.

One thing, you may need to do is have the bushings that fit in the center of the old pulleys turned down to 1/2" OD, the factory stuff has a 5/8" OD and a 3/8" ID. Should take about 2 minutes in a lathe. Or maybe you can find the proper size bushing. Other option would be to drill the parts that the 3/8" bolts go through to 1/2". That's probably what I would do if it were my tractor.

The cub ones are 3"dia, so you need a longer belt, easy peasy

Your right, the mule drive I have has 3" pulleys. I went looking and found this... does it look heavy enough? Actually these are what I have now.
