What are the adjustable carb. options for a Mag. 20?
 

I have a 2072 with a Mag 20 and fixed high speed mixture. I'm going to try to fix it once by putting in a throttle shaft bushing, carb kit, new throttle shaft if necessary, etc. What adjustable carb should I be looking for to feed the Mag 20?

I put a kt17 carb on mine but did notice a little power loss due to the smaller throttle bore

I also put one off a kt 17 on my 20 mag I didn't notice any power difference but it does start better now. I thought both carburetors had the same bore 26mm if I remember correctly :bigthink:

Ok, I dug through the few spare carbs. that I have and the one that looks to be in the best condition is a 30. Is there any reasons why I should not use a 30 instead of a 26? Thought I would ask before I go to the trouble of rebuilding it.

A #30 is too big. Stick with a #26.
