New Arrival 149
Hi guys,
Been away for a while. Went through the deck on the 1810 in the spring, got it running, then about 3rd mowing it started leaking oil. I'm thinking front seal on the Kohler 18. Parked it, too many irons in the fire for now. And now I just inherited my Uncles 149. My first IH cub!! Better than average condition, but the hydro lift is inoperative. Transmission works fine. So lift is a divorced system from the trans fluid? Is the lift cylinder under the gas tank with its own fluid source? Thanks! |
Congrats on the 149! Love mine!
The lift isn't a divorced system from the tranny, same pump. The very first thing to do is change the hytran and filter which may or may not fix your problem, but then its not a variable anymore. |
Good idea, I have no idea when the hytran was last changed. I'll start there. Thanks!

Congrats on your 149! Can't wait to see some pics.
