Adding a ported pump..

I've got a ported pump off of a 129 that I plan to put on my 125 so I can rob the external hydros for the 126 project. I do not have the relief valves from the ported pump, so i'm thinking to use the 125's. Will this work? I have the spool valve and all the steel lines to plumb it in. Also does anyone have the instructions on how to convert a manual lift to hydraulic lift?

What? :bigthink:

Your going to put a ported pump on a 125 so you can put a valve and hydraulic lift on it? I don't understand what it is you want to know? :bigthink:

think he wants to use the relief valves from the non ported pump in a ported pump. that would work

I added hydro lift to my 127. The lines will be the only problem. I used rubber hydraulic lines.

Exactly, I'm pretty sure it will too.. I just wanted to make sure.

I like your idea, I've been thinking about something similar with my 125, and putting my nf hydraulic lift on my 72. What would you use as a lift handle, ant where would you mount it?

I'm still working on that, this came off a 129 I parted out so I still have the factory handle. I don't think I have room in the dash tower though.. I haven't gotten to this just yet been working on the 123 I got home yesterday.

I don't think this is too difficult of a project, if you're willing to put forth the effort. I think it could be done pretty "clean" too, if you have all the WF parts.

Find a place under the dash where you can mount the valve AND the handle so they are situated to each other the same way they came out of the WF.

I also believe the the front mount for the cylinder could be modified to fit the NF tractor.

I am also thinking that the WF rock shaft could be modified to fit the NF tractor, or one could make a new shaft and use the arms from the WF rock shaft.

Using a NF electric or hydraulic rock shaft could also be a possibility, but that would create the problem of making an "end" for the cylinder that would let the rock shaft "float".

Rubber hoses would probably make things a lot easier as mmzullo said.

I would very much like to see pictures of how you set things up on your 127.
