Attaching front blade
 

I have a 1989 1050 and located a wide frame front blade. Now my question is what all do I need to install this. Looking at the manual in the tech section, it seems like I need a couple brackets, are those still available. Does the lever that raises/lower the mower deck do the same for the blade. Does it just attach where the mule drive attaches on the front. A pic would be awesome. Thanks

Pics of the blade would be most helpful to see what all it comes with. You will need the lift rod bracket that attaches to the lift handle for sure.

Have a look at this thread maybe it'll help. Basically 3 parts to a blade setup. The blade itself, the mounting bracket for narrow vs wide frame and the lift rod.
