Creeper trouble
I have long wanted to install a creeper in my 102, so I found a 104 with a creeper. I swapped the 104 creeper, drive shaft, clutch into the 102. When I was done, fired the engine, left the clutch out and nothing..it won't move. It appears as if the clutches are slipping, when in fact both worked well before I swapped everything over. The 102 clutch, drive shaft, works fine in the 104. I did install a new throw out bearing and teaser spring on the creeper shaft. Could the teaser spring not be stiff enough? I split the 102 again and tested the creeper on the ground. It spins over fine when using a drift pin to spin the input shaft. I am lost. Do I need new clutches?

First, welcome to OCC.... :Welcome2:
As they say, "a picture are worth a thousand words". How about snapping some pictures of your modification so we can see what is going on. :TTWWP: |
Did you forget to put a pin in the driveshaft?

Creeper trouble? Did you try the police?? :ROTF1:
Hope you get your issue solved. |
Guys, thanks for the responses, I found the trouble. One pin was waaay to long and actually hit the cross member of the frame, stopping the shaft from spining! Mr Dremel and a tile cutting bit cut the ends off without removing the shaft...I am a lucky dog. I will post pics later...got to get creepn!...LOL.

ok, whats the easiest way to post pics?

down load this program and resize your pics to 640x480. This is a very nice way to play with pictures.
