Clutch ??s
hello its me again, i have now had time to check the tranny and everything is fine the baering is going bad but is good for now till i get the $$ for it but now i have made it to the clutch, it is engagin and stoping like it sholud, have adjusted it to make it work better but still seems to be slipping, are springs worn out? or the disc to thin? has a more reverse than any other forward gear still weak though. what can be done to make it get through the winter. wil post pics of the tractor with the cab and some of the clutch in a bit have to put the cab and fender pan back on then go get the snowblower to put it on since i have now tested everything to have the clutch not be right and i can do that with everything on it. Any help is good help. thanks

Sounds to me like its just ready for a rebuild no telling the abuse it has went through. Have the pressure plates turned and get a new teaser spring throw out bearing and clutch disk you should be good to go for quite some time. Untill you can get the parts just run it

Don't be surprise the driveshaft will need replacing too. Sometimes the area where the throwout bearing goes is a hi wear area. Once the wear shows up on the driveshaft the clutch will act up.
Best thing to do is rebuild the clutch assembly. |
i plan to rebuild it or check for wear but its going to be made to work till spring till i get money from snowblowing this winter and whatch for so mods on the cab, ill take pics of the inside when im all done with it.

Just throwing this out there..maybe one of the roll pins in the driveshaft to trans coupler is sheared off.
