Pics of 73
Some photo updates - not as much progress as I'd have liked...
Been running great for several days after some carb adjusting. Then it started leaking at the carb after I shut it down. Thanks to jimbob200521 for the rattle mitigation idea. 5/16" was all I had so I'll redo it with smaller at some point. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3831/9...570d2622c5.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5497/9...703055499d.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3748/9...04f295f8a3.jpg |

Nice 73! If the carb is leaking after shutdown, it's probably your carb float not floating enough to stop fuel flow, or something in the fill valve keeping it from closing all the way. Time to pull the carb to clean it up. Meanwhile, you can close the valve on the tank when you're done using the tractor to limit the leakage. I once had an entire tank of fuel leak out of one of my cubs while sitting in the shed.

When you're done with it for the day, shut the fuel off and run it till it stops until you can get the problem corrected. |
