1650 flywheel

I have been lurking on the site for about a month now. I would like to thank everyone involved for this great site.

I have a 1979 1650 with 3 point lift, front hydraulics, 50"deck and blade that I purchased about 2 years ago. I have recently done the craddle mod, installed new points/condenser and plug/wire.

The leading/forward edge of the teeth on my flywheel are worn. It surprisingly sounds fine but I would like to get a spare to keep in the shop just in case.

Does a flywheel from a 1250 and 1450 fit on a 1650?

are they worn down or the leading edge angled? i thought mine was worn to but it looks like it was manufactured that way to give a lead in for the starter.

I sell ring gears to a pulling supply house and all the ring gears have a taper to them it helps the starter engage I have only ever seen like 1 or 2 that were not usable send a pic and we can help you make sure yours is bad but yes any mag or k series ring gear starter single cylinder or kt17 m18 m20 ring gear is the same commands are not the same
