project "new '62 CCO"
1 Attachment(s)
Well with the temporary layoffs they just did at work I have finally got around to a few projects. I finally got started on my o that has been tore down in my shed for the last three months I've got 2 coats of school bus yellow on the frame and rearend now have had the entire rearend gone through and cleaned up got all the rust pits in the frame smoothed out. This is going to be a very long restoration as time and funds allow I will be replacing EVERY wear part on this my goal is to have a "brand new 1962" cub original with fenders 3 point spring assist and hopefully headlights and a grote. I still have a few more coats to go on before.I am done with these parts but I figure I might as well start a thread as I've been working on the frame for a week now to get it smoothed out. Here is the only pic I have of my progress as I forgot to take any during prep and primer ill be adding more as time goes on

Sorry about the temp layoff. Your approaching this with the right mindset. If it needs it done do it.:beerchug: It will pay off in the long run reward you with many years of service.

Thanks guys I want to take this to shows as well as use it so even if it dosnt need it it is getting done. My budget is lower but that just means it will be a slower process. How hard is it to get clutch parts. I've noticed the o clutch is quite a bit different then the narrow.frames I'm still studying it.trying to figure it out
