44c on a 1863?
 

The area I mow doesn't warrant the 54 inch deck that came on my 1863 and the area I mow with the 1811 warrants a larger deck, You would think the solution would be obvious (switch tractors) but its complicated and I don't want to type that much :bigeyes: I would like to swap decks so I checked tractor data, (sorry methos you'll have to type this time :biggrin2:) but didn't find if the 44c deck will fit the 1863 and the 1863 deck will fit the 1811 will it hook up without any hassles or mods? I don't want to modify any thing I want to keep the cubs original.

I wanted to do the reverse swap and this is what I found out.

Thanks again Methos after reading your post its pretty obvious it would be to much of a P.I.T.A. it looks like what you said I will just have to find a smaller deck. Did you ever get yours?

Your welcome. I got another 1864 sold that deck and sub frame and going to mow with one of the 1864's and putting the FEL on the other one. So no need for another deck. I do have a restored 38" for the 1650 if I ever get into a bind. But as of now I'm going to leave the 782 with out a deck.
