HELP mower deck blades will NOT stop spinning
 
guys please help my cub cadet original mower deck has all new belts but when the tractor is running the blades keep on spinning when the mower is disengaged i tried one of the old short belts that goes on the 2 pullies but it didnt help i dont know what to do. please help, thanks

sounds like your tensioner on the deck is not moving far enough to take the tension off your belt. Mark

Theres a rod on the kick clutch that you can screw in or out. Put some lube on that center pulley where it moves back and fourth too.

ok guys i made a little progress i used CRC power lube on the slide plate and center pulley and took off the cast iron pedal cleaned it up and sprayed it with CRC , put it back and sprayed the adjustment rod, im letting it soak
