Farmall A, B, BN question

My question is where do you have to split a BN to get to the trans shaft bearings, just at the trans or at clutch and trans

You will most likely have to split it both at the transmission/rear bell housing and the engine/ front bell housing. Split it as you were doing a clutch at the engine/front bell housing, and then take your bell housing off at the front of the transmission. The tranny input shaft I'm heavily assuming is one peice and it won't do you any good to just split it at the tranny. Just my .02, this is how I envision myself doing it in a few months with my '41 B. Good luck :beerchug:
