Reply to 147 Question
I believe the 14 HP takes a #30 carb (that is, 30mm diameter throat); the smaller engines employed a #26 --at least, I know my 149 uses a #30 Carter/Kohler carb.

well i figured out my carb is a wallbro 47-053-69 but i can locate a carb kit. is a Kohler #30 carb the same kit?
|
No,Walbro and Carter (Kohler) do NOT use the same kit. If it was me,I would get a Kohler Carter #30 and rebuild it.I (and others also)do not like the Walbro carbs.

Vote for Replacement
I concur with TimE, many times, no matter what you do, the Walbro can't be salvaged. I wouldn't put a lot of money into it; save your money for a Carter/Kohler unit.
